Steam Users Can Claim 4 Free Games Right Now – GameRant

Players can sometimes find free games on Steam to add to their libraries, and users can right now claim four more titles for free.
Steam users can right now claim four games for free, as gamers can play Snakedate, Antbassador, IndependANT, and Octodad: Student Edition without paying anything. Users can often find free games on Steam, either for a limited period of time or free to own as long as players add them to their accounts before the deadline.
More recently, gamers were able to grab Desktop Dungeons for free on Steam, giving them access to a game with a score of 82 on Metacritic. Players should note that this offer is no longer unavailable, as it expired Tuesday, April 25 at 11:00 am CT. However, users can right now claim four other games on Steam, with all of them being new releases.

As reported by ComicBook, Snakedate, Antbassador, IndependANT, and Octodad: Student Edition are all available for free on Steam right now. It’s unknown if these games will remain free forever, or if this is just a limited-time offer, but users should claim them to be on the safer side. All four titles are published by Young Horses, and they reportedly are a part of the "Young Horses: Free Range initiative." These games are all new launches, as they appear to have been released on April 25, 2023, for free.
Octodad is probably the most well-known game on this list, possibly due to its sequel Octodad: Dadliest Catch, and the release of Bugsnax by the same developer. Fans should note that Octodad: Student Edition is a release of the original game from 2010, and Octodad: Dadliest Catch is available for purchase on various platforms.
Snakedate, as the name suggests, is a dating app for snakes, while players take on the role of a brave worker ant in IndependANT. Finally, Antbassador lets users take control of a giant human finger, as they try to make their way through an ant colony. At the time of this writing, all four games have little to no reviews on Steam, so it may be hard for players to get opinions on their quality. However, this offer allows gamers to try out new titles for free, making their Steam libraries even bigger.
In addition to these games, users can also take a look at several free-to-play games on Steam, with many of them having incredibly positive reviews. This list includes popular games like Apex Legends, Warframe, Dota 2, and more, giving players a variety of options to choose from.
